Wine & Cider Tasting

You must be 21 years old or older to taste or purchase wine or hard cider.

Tours & Tastings

Tours & Tastings are available for groups of any size by reservation. Please call for information on schedule availability and pricing.

Each tour is customized for the group, and may include a brief orchard walk along with a short discussion of our fruit and cider / winemaking. Visitors are given basic guidelines for tasting and evaluating cider and wine, while sampling some of our offerings.

Shopping

Our Cider, Wine & Gifts include fine wines and ciders from other Wisconsin wineries as well as those produced by Maiden Rock Winery & Cidery. In addition to our ciders and wines, we stock wines from other Wisconsin wineries. We also offer tasty Wisconsin foods, unique gift items, cider and winemaking supplies.

Apple Orchard Tours

In the fall, Maiden Rock Apple Orchard provides a wide range of “Tasty Experiences with Country Charm” - including orchard tours, wagon rides, picnics and other outdoor fun. You can pick-your-own or select pre-picked apples in the barn. For additional information, check out the web site at www.maidenrockapples.com.

Great River Road Wine Trail

grrwtThe Great River Road Wine Trail links wineries in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa. The Trail offers a passport program that enables guests to earn a wine glass once they have visited and received stamps from each of the wineries.

Currently the Trail hosts three events each year, and you can obtain more information when you visit www.greatriverroadwinetrail.org. You can get a copy of the Wine Trail's brochure at any of the member wineries.

Lake Pepin Wine & Cider Cruise

For a spectacular and tasty experience, join Maiden Rock Winery & Cidery for wine, cider and cheese tasting on Lake Pepin. Lake Pepin is part of the Upper Mississippi River Valley American Viticultural Area (AVA) -- the largest wine grape-growing region in the United States --  and encompasses an area 50 times larger than the Bordeaux wine regions of France.

These 1-1/2 hour cruises on the Pearl of the Lake present locally produced wines -- including whites, reds, and hard ciders. Wine & Cider Maker Herdie Baisden informs guests about each wine and cider being tasted and happily answers any questions. Cheese pairings and additional wine complimenting fare will be served! Additional beverages are available for purchase at the full service bar on board.

While enjoying your wine and food tastings, you’ll experience some of the most incredible and beautiful scenery of the Mississippi river, including:
